Welcome to
On DeMark Lodge
Craig DeMark - outfitter/owner
Embracing every day on the water, Craig loves where this crazy life has taken him. Originally from southwest Idaho, fishing and hunting have always been his passions. Lodge owner and guide has gone through the unconventional route of a family auto repair business and basketball coaching. It’s been quite the adventure for Becky and Craig through 30-some years of marriage.
To Craig, guiding isn’t a job. It’s sharing a day on the river with friends. It doesn’t matter if you’re a beginner or a seasoned vet. Fun and laughter are what every day is all about.
He loves hunting for big, rising fish. Taking the time and getting that perfect drift for the sip makes the day. He also enjoys nymphing for big numbers and targeting large Browns with streamers.
Off seasons are spent fishing the Mo, running bird dogs, and polling the flats boat in the Florida Keys.
Craig invites you to share the adventure!
Warren DeMark - guide
Warren is the youngest son of the DeMark family, and has been a fishing guide since he graduated from high school in Dillon, MT. Warren has fishing in his blood and has been casting a fly rod since he started walking. He grew up fishing small creeks in southwest Idaho and the main rivers of southwest Montana. Warren loves all types of fly fishing and any species that will eat a fly; from trout to pike. Spending 1000’s of hours on the technical dry fly waters of the Beaverhead River and the Missouri, Warren specializes in the exciting art of dry fly fishing. If there are heads looking up, he will make sure you get a shot at the stocky, slow sipping trout of the Missouri river. Warren also enjoys throwing large streamers for big browns in the summer and fall, so be confident he has a box loaded with the goods when it’s time to throw the big bugs.
Becky DeMark
Becky is the Mom of the DeMark's, and she treats everyone like another one of her kids. Becky spent several years preparing meals for our bird hunting preserve in Idaho before running her own daycare for a decade so she could be with her children. Through the years of cooking for her family and honing her craft at the hunting preserve, Becky has crafted some delicious signature meals. Her Bolognese and Cilantro Lime Chicken are a few of her familiar favorites. Becky’s sweet treats and refreshing lunches will keep you fat and happy on the river, and her hearty home cooked meals will keep you full and satisfied when you’re ready to rest for the night.
Sam Botz - guide
My name is Sam Botz and I am a born and raised local of Montana. Over the last few years my love for tight lines and big fish on the Mo has kept me captivated and I look forward to sharing the experience with both seasoned fly anglers looking to find large trout and those looking to have a relaxing day on the river alike.
Caleb Ferguson - guide
Born and raised in Helena, Montana, Caleb spends his days on the Missouri River. From the time he could hold a rod, he’s been chasing trout on the “Mo,” learning its rhythms, reading its water, and building a deep respect for everything it has to offer.
For Caleb, guiding is about more than just fishing it’s about creating an experience that fits each angler. Whether you’re looking to throw dries all day to rising fish or nymph your way to steady action, he’s all in. He’s just as happy covering miles of river in search of the perfect setup as he is dialing in a single stretch and making it count.
Caleb is passionate about helping clients enjoy their day on the water in their own way. Some days that means numbers, some days it means the perfect eat but every day is about time well spent on the river.
When he’s not guiding, you’ll still find him out there head hunting big fish with his loyal companion, Sage, or chasing birds and big game across Montana’s wide-open country. Hunting, fishing, and time outdoors aren’t just hobbies for Caleb they’re a way of life.
